These remote trainers are from PetSafe. There is no difference electronically or in performance. The PDBDT-305 is the home training model, and the PST-105S is the gun dog hunting model. The only offer a 100 yard range, which can be a problem once you consider how fast a dog can travel and your own reaction time. The collar receivers are waterproof and use a commonly replaceable 3 volt battery. They have 10 correction levels and a tone option. The transmitter is unfortunately rather large and cannot be carried safely in a pocket.

The BT-502A 2 dog training collar is a basic introductory 2 dog trainer. The collar receivers operate on easily replaceable 6 volt batteries. The collar receivers are water resistant, which means that they are fine to use in rain or snow, but cannot be submerged. There is no need to switch between dog 1 or dog 2, all of the 4 stimulation levels are easily located on the remote transmitter. This system does not offer a tone option. The remote is pocket size.
