1. You need to measure your dog's width. Stand above your dog and use a ruler to measure the widest portion of your dog. Then add 1-2 inches for comfort.
2. Measure your dogs height. Measure from the top of your dogs shoulders (the withers) to the lowest point of your dogs belly or chest. Then add 1-2 inches for comfort.
