The SportDOG Deluxe Bark Control Collar uses both sound and vibration sensors to detect your pet’s barking. This makes it so that there will never be a false correction which is important because false positives would create confusion for your pet and severely delay its learning to cease barking. Also the sensors need to both detect together in order to prompt a correction so another pet can’t set off the collar. The SportDOG Deluxe Bark Control Collar is easy to use, determine the setting which will work best for your pet, have them wear it and you’re set. We recommend you start at one of the lower levels because there’s no way to be sure how your pet will react to the static corrections. There are 18 different correction levels which allows for a great deal of customization and makes it so there are no drastic jumps in intensity. Sometimes with systems featuring only a few levels can have a pet go from no response to a dramatic one because the distance between corrections is simply too much. The hope through these levels is that that sort of scenario won’t happen for you and your pet.
