This trainer was designed for Hounds and other sporting dog breeds. The SportDog Hound Hunter is the newest product from SportDog. This remote trainer has a 2-mile range and comes complete with transmitter, receiver, two collar straps, batteries, instructional manual and limited lifetime warranty.

This trainer is expandable up to four dogs (additional receiver purchase necessary). This trainer has eight levels of correction so that you can train your dog as needed. The newly designed 'pistol grip' of the transmitter makes it much easier to handle then previous models and gives you a comfortable feel. It works on commonly sold 9-volt batteries and is waterproof. The receiver is also waterproof and works on rechargeable batteries with 70-100 operating hours (varies by use) between charges.
