The PSBC-300 is a vibration based spray collar which can not be activated by other dogs barking. This is important if you’re planning on using the collar when you’re away because no other pets can set off the spray mechanism. That being said even if all day use is your intended purpose for the unit because people have complained about the barking when you’re out you should not start off using it unsupervised. You need to be sure that your pet will respond properly to the training that is being administered rather than an opposing reaction. Whimpering is sometimes an issue with sound based sensors because it’s loud enough and a can be a similar pitch to some barks. Since this is vibration only a whimper will need to be strong to set off a correction which is desirable for overall improved behavior.

Over time this product will have your pet well trained and barking no more. Should your pet relapse into old habits then simply reinstate use of the collar and you’ll quickly return to having a happy quite home.
