The NEW and improved PIF-300 wireless pet fence is a great wireless pet fence that is easy to set-up and transport.
It installs in seconds and can be taken with you on camping trips and powered through your car's 12-volt outlet.
The PIF-275-19 collar has 6, adjustable levels of correction, as opposed to only 1 with the
old IF-200 collar. While it is a great wireless fence, it does have certain aspects that you should consider before purchasing.
If your dog is larger than 50 pounds, or is a difficult dog to contain we do not recommend
this unit. In addition, PetSafe does not recommend leaving the collar on your dog while it is indoors
due to the fact that certain household appliances can set it off. If you need a collar that can stay on the dog indoors,

A
wireless fence that offers the largest wireless containment
area available, PLUS you can add on!

| The signal field of the wirless fence is adjustable from a 15 to 90 foot radius from the transmitter (30 to 180 foot diameter).
The shape of the signal is in a perfect circle and the shape cannot be altered. The range of the Instant wireless fence can be increased by using two or more
transmitters. This creates multiple intersecting circles; two transmitters would create a boundary in a shape similar to the MasterCard™ logo, a figure 8.
The signal is cancelled where the circles intersect, allowing the pet access to the entire area. The transmitters can be located a maximum of 150 feet
apart and each transmitter must be out of the weather; they cannot get wet. An additional transmitter would create a boundary that is up to 180 feet wide
and up to 230 feet long. The PIF-300 wireless fence works best in yards that are relatively flat. The wireless fence system will not work well if a drop-off or steep slope is a part
of the contained area. |

The Wireless pet fence offers twice the coverage of any other wireless system on the market, so don't be fooled by the imitators. If you can plug in a cord, you can install this Wireless Pet Fence!
This wireless fence has no unattractive poles to set up and no wires to bury. Instant wireless dog fence uses a constant radio signal to create a "safe zone" for your pet. When your pet approaches the boundary area, your pet will first receive a warning tone. If your pet continues, a correction is given.
This Wireless Dog Fence is completely portable, so you can take it -- and your pet -- wherever you go. You can even add our DC to AC Power Inverter that will allow you to plug the wireless fence into the cigarette lighter of your car, boat or RV.

How
the Wirless Fence Works:
|
| Just
plug in the wireless fence transmitter some
where inconspicuously in your home, garage,
or tool shed. The wireless fence transmitter
will then emits a radio signal which will define
the containment boundary for your pet. Your
pet wears a lightweight receiver collar which
"listens" for the signa from the wireless
fence transmitterl. While the collar is receiving
the signal, your dog is free to run and play
in your yard. When your pet approaches the boundary
of the signal area your pet will receive a warning
beep. If your dog does not retreat from the
boundary a correction is given. With a little
simple training, your dog will quickly learn
his boundaries.
Setting up your
Wireless Dog Fence will only take a few minutes
and is easy. The wireless fence transmitter
plugs into any standard 110 volt outlet. Since
the signal will transmit reliably through
walls and other obstructions, it can be placed
in any convenient and discreet location, typically
in the garage, tool shed, or a closet. Once
you have set up the Instant wireless dog fence,
you can now adjust the range that is appropriate
for your dog and your yard.

you have adjusted the wireless fence signal
to the perimeter you want, mark the boundary
by placing the training flags at the edge of
the signal.
Every Instant Wireless Fence
comes with the transmitter, one receiver,
50 boundary flags for training your pet and
a manual that explains installation and training.
We offer single dog wireless fences as well
as two and three wireless fences.
Additional lightweight receiver collars are available for over 3 dog wireless fences and as replacement collars, should you lose one. Extra wireless fence transmitters are available to allow you to increase your containment area, as are power inverters that allow you to plug the wireless fence into a car, truck or SUV power output.

Helpful Hints With A Wireless Fence:
|
Be
Patient With Your Pet Important: Proper training
of your pet is essential to the success of the
Wireless Pet Fence. Remember that the Wireless
Dog Fence is not a solid barrier. Have fun with
your pet when training him to the wireless dog
fence. Training should be fun, fair, firm and
consistent. Train for 10 to 15 minutes at a
time. Don't try to do too much too quickly.
Morefrequent short sessions are better than
less-frequent longer sessions. We suggest a
minimum of 14 days of training with the wireless
dog fence. Depending on your pet and how he
learns, the training could take more or less
time.
If your pet shows signs of stress, slow
down the training schedule, add additional days
of training with the wireless dog fence, or
increase the amount of play time with your pet
in the wireless fence area. Common stress signals
include: - Pet pulling on leash toward the house
- Ears tucked - Tail down - Body lowered - Nervous
/ frantic movement or stiffening of pet's body
Your pet must be completely comfortable near
the Wirless Fence Boundary Flags at the end
of every training session. Spend at least 5
minutes of "play time" at the completion of
each session within 10 feet of the Wireless
Fence Boundary Flags. Finish each training session
on a positive note with lots of praise and play.
Remove the Receiver Collar after each wireless
fence training session. Be sure to contain your
pet by another means during the wireless fence
training period (e.g. pen, tie-out, leash, etc.).
During wireless fence training, if you need
to take your pet out of the wireless fence area,
remove the Receiver Collar and either pick your
pet up or put him in the car to pass out of
the wireless fence Area. Even if you think your
pet is responding well to the wireless fence
training, complete the entire training. Reinforcement
is important! |
