The Transmitter has a range of 25 acres. The Transmitter plugs into a standard outlet. The Deluxe Dog Fence system works by producing a radio signal transmitted from the fence transmitter that travels along the wire as much as 500 feet of the boundary wire enclosing the pet area (up to 25 acres). The Ultra-Light receiver worn on your pet’s collar picks up the radio signal and alerts him as he nears the underground boundary that you have customized for your yard. The Ultra-Light Comfort Fit receiver collar with the comfort contact points touching the neck and can easily be trained to stay within the pet area.When the pet strays into the warning zone the Ultra-Light Comfort Fit Receiver Collar gives a warning beep. If the pet continues into the warning zone, a safe, static correction is delivered through the comfort fit contact points until the animal returns to the pet area.
The pet-specific customized training method includes three adjustable training modes--warning only, correction only, and warning followed by correction. The adjustable collar comes equipped with a waterproof receiver. The side facing the throat offers a concave inside surface and curved washers for a more comfortable fit. The Deluxe Dog Fence is for larger yards or areas that get snow, ice, rain or lightning or have poor soil conditions

Above Ground Installation:
Here at the Pet Street Mall we like to make things as easy for our customers as possible. So now we have NEW Wire Securing Staples for Above Ground Installation. When you install your wire stop digging and just lay it on top of the ground, use the staples to hold it down securely. This style of installation will help you to find breaks in the wire and provide a long term visual for your dog after the flags are gone.

The wire you use is Important. But there is a significant difference if your wire is Burial Approved or not. Use only long lasting waterproof Polyurethane Coated wire with solid copper core.
