The 4100 Comes with a newly designed rechargeable collar receiver which is completely waterproof and designed with contours to more comfortably fit around your dog’s neck. Other new features include a battery back up system which utilizes AA batteries in case the lithium ion battery looses its charge before you’re able to recharge it. Along with this there is a boundary self check that displays the systems status 24/7 to best monitor your dog and its safety within the yard. How the system works:
The Ultra system wiring is buried in the yard and connected to the radio transmitter. When the dog comes near the wiring a short harmless stimulation is sent to the collar the dog is wearing in order to discourage it from going past the wire. The purpose of this is so that the dog will learn its limits and eventually will cease in testing them to where it remains within the defined safe space in the yard. Each of the Innotek systems implement their patented “Run-through prevention” so that the dog does not escape. Through the use of this form of training the amount of corrections will become less frequent and ideally stop entirely. If you have any questions please call our customer support.
