Containment Systems
Containment systems are the safest way to keep your pet inside a specified area. Since dogs cannot dig under or jump over containment systems they are ideal for pet containment . They are also easier to install than tall, bothersome wooden or chain link fences . If wooden or chain link fences are currently on your property, containment systems can be used to reinforce this existing fencing that your dog has found his way around. Dog fences have a wire that is easy to install and runs underground. The boundary created by the wire can be customized to keep your dog safely away from areas such as gardens, driveways and swimming pools. Your dog also avoids unappreciative neighbors and busy streets. These systems work on a simple “out” to “in” process. When the collar is “out” of the signal range the wire produces, there will be no stimulation. When the dog moves “in” this signal range, stimulation will occur. As the dog approaches the set boundary, he or she will receive a warning tone. This will let him know to easily retreat without receiving any stimulation. If he continues toward the wire, he will receive a low level of static stimulation. This stimulation will increase the closer the dog gets to the wire. This is called Run-Through Prevention. The stimulation will stop after 10 seconds and will reset once the dog is "out".
