Canine Cooler Dog Bed Information
The Canine Cooler is a thermo regulating cooling pet bed. The Canine Cooler does not work on electricity or batteries. The Canine Cooler is not an air conditioner or a heat pump. The Canine Cooler dog bed is a thermoregulating bed. The bed removes heat from your dog passively without pumps or Freon. The Canine Cooler pulls heat from your dog and passes that heat to the surface where the canine cooler is placed on. Does it work? – Yes.
Knowing the function of Canine Cooler helps you to appreciate that the surface (floor) must be considered also. Solid cool surfaces are more desired than thick carpet. Make sure to keep the cooling bed out of direct sunlight because it will warm the bed. Many of our customers say that the floor tile in the front hall or kitchen is a great place for the Canine Cooler dog bed.
The Canine Cooler pet bed contains a unique filling which becomes almost a gel when filled with water. Water is essential to the success of your cooling dog bed. The Canine Cooler comes in three different sizes. As an approximate guide for how much water you will need to add to your bed is as follows. The small Canine Cooler will take about one gallon of water. The medium Canine Cooler holds about two and one quarter gallons of water. The large Canine Cooler will hold an amazing four and one half gallons of water. Once you have filled the bed with water, be sure to remove all of the air in the bed, before closing and sealing the water tight valve. Air will not aid in the Canine Cooler thermo regulating process. After properly filled, the cool dog bed should have a flat and smooth surface. This bed creates a comfortable gel-like feel due to the water inside.
Canine Cooler Helpful Hints
Once you have filled your Canine Cooler with water and removed the air, set the bed on a solid cool surface and out of direct sun light, preferably on a favorite spot of your dog. Most dogs will discover the cool dog bed on their own. If your dog feels hot, he will most likely find the Canine Cooler and once he does, he will keep coming back to experience the coolness of this bed. Some pets will require a week or two to discover and become comfortable with their new cooling bed. If your dog has not discovered the Canine Cooler in a couple of weeks, here are some hints. Place a bed sheet over the top of the Canine Cooler and put a couple of dog treats on the bed sheet, simply repeat this until your dog begins to like the cool dog bed and then start removing the sheet. Another method is to simply place a piece of your clothing, such as a shirt, next to your Canine Cooler. Your dog will associate your smell from the shirt, thus encouraging him to lie down on his Canine Cooler.

It is great to know that the crystals inside the cooling jacket and bandana don’t add much weight, thus your pet will feel comfortable while wearing one of them. But, just like the Canine Cooler, you have to add water. Your Cooling Dog Bandana will work for hours, and is great for car rides, hikes or while playing at the local park. The Cooling Bandana comes with a reflective tape that adds security to your pet during night time use. It is really a stylish bandana.
The Cooling Dog Jacket is also a stylish way to cool your dog. The cooling jacket goes further than the bandana in covering more of your dog’s body.
